ANTHEM LEAGUE RULES

SCORING: The style of play is rotisserie (stat categories). Basically, your team is awarded a point for every category you beat your opponent.

For instance, if your team gets more home runs (in a week, Mon-Sun) then your opponent, you get 1 pt. for winning that category. Winner of the most categories wins the weekly game. There are 10 categories (possible 10 pts):

RBI
RUNS
SB

ERA
Ks
WINS
SAVES
WHIP (walks + hits/innings pitched)

ROSTER LIMIT: Rosters consist of 25 players, with 13 starters each week:

LINEUPS:1B,2B,3B,SS,OF(3),C,SP(3),RP(2)

Players can play multiple positions if they are eligible. Eligibility is determined by the number of real games the player played in real life. He must have at least 20 games a position to be eligible at another position besides his default position (for 2003 and 2004).

Lineup deadline is noon Monday each week. If you do not post a new lineup, the previous week`s lineup will be carried over.

SCHEDULE: The season lasts 26 weeks, with the last 3 weeks (23 regular, 3 playoff) for playoffs. Top 8 teams make the playoffs.

TRANSACTIONS Player moves are first come/first serve (add/waives). Trades are also permissable (between teams), but are subject to commish approval (to ensure no collusion). Trading deadline is August 15th. Player moves can occur thereafter (add/waives), but will cease at the beginning of the fantasy playoffs.

There are a few more rules not spelled out here, but they will be subject to and defined by league voting (if confrontations occur).
